About Y Studios
Founded in 2001, Y Studios is an Industrial Design and Design Research consultancy based in the creative hub of San Francisco. Our multicultural sensitivity and business acumen yield effective design solutions that are iconic, definitive, relevant, cost effective and manufacturable. Our creations are used around the world in many lifestyle domains: where people Live, Work, Play and Imagine.
As idea generators and sensemakers, we conduct socio-cultural research to spark innovation and inform our design process. By uncovering insights that take us into fresh realms of thinking, we help generate new business ideas that give our clients a competitive edge. As a result, our designs fit better into people’s lives in ways that are Useful, Beautiful and Meaningful.
