EKO Health Core 500 Digital Stethoscope
We took a very deep look at a classic archetype and identified critical areas where it could do better, much better. Together we crafted an instrument that fits high fidelity audio, a color circular display and a 3-lead ECG in a cast metal body that fits ergonomically in the hand in familiar ways. The heart and lung sounds can be recorded and shared wirelessly with specialists, all with the simple press of a button. Supported by Eko’s FDA-cleared AI, the stethoscope flags abnormalities in seconds right at the point of care.

Extra stoked that our design of the Ground Control Cyclops Coffee Brewer was also a Finalist in the competition. The International Design Excellence Awards, organized by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), is one of the longest running and largest design awards programs in existence. Each year, thousands of entries across the globe are submitted, making IDEA one of the most prestigious awards in the world. To be one of the winners is indeed a great honor.
